- Website usage information automatically collected when you visit our website, such as browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and referring website.

We use the information we collect to:

- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you about your engagement;
- Send appointment reminders, document confirmations, secure portal links, and engagement-status updates;

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, consistent with the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, IRC § 7216, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 314), the IRS Written Information Security Plan (WISP) requirement under IRS Publication 4557, and the New York SHIELD Act (N.Y. General Business Law § 899-aa and § 899-bb). All exchanges of tax documents, financial statements, identification documents, and other sensitive information are conducted through our secure client portal or an equivalent encrypted file-exchange tool. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only as follows:
- With your consent, including consents that comply with the form, content, and timing requirements of Treasury Regulation § 301.7216-3 where disclosure or use of tax return information for a purpose other than tax return preparation is involved;
- To service providers that perform services on our behalf (for example, our secure client portal, our text-messaging platform, document management, and IT infrastructure providers), subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm, our clients, or others;
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, sale of assets, or reorganization, subject to applicable law and professional standards.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent. We use this information to send the categories of messages described in our SMS Terms of Service: appointment reminders, document-receipt confirmations, secure portal links, engagement-status updates, and billing notifications.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any Firm text message, or by contacting us by email or phone. We process opt-out requests within ten (10) business days. Full details on our text messaging program, including consent, frequency, opt-out, and help instructions, are available in our SMS Terms of Service.
7. Tax Return Information
Tax return information is treated with heightened protection. We do not disclose tax return information to any third party for any purpose other than to prepare your tax return, except with your prior written consent in the form required by Treasury Regulation § 301.7216-3 or as otherwise permitted by law. Unauthorized disclosure or use of tax return information may give rise to civil and criminal penalties under IRC § 6713 and § 7216.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal and professional obligations, and resolve disputes. Tax engagement records are retained consistent with AICPA professional standards and applicable IRS and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance requirements, generally for seven (7) years from the later of the date the return was filed or the engagement concluded. SMS consent and revocation records are retained for seven (7) years following the last text message sent under the consent.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain disclosures. 10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website or service you visit.
